Chantal hosts NFL Players Jeremy Mincey and Kyle Moore for Champs Peace Initiative

As the 2011 Boys and Girls Peace Ambassador, Chantal Raymond invited her college friend and NFL player for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jeremy Mincey to be the keynote speaker at a forum with student athletes at Jamaica House. Mincey, in turn invited friend and NFL Player, Kyle Moore (Tampa Bay, Buccaneers). The two visited the island for the first time and took the time to address students about the importance of keeping fierce competition and rivalry on the field and never outside of the sport itself.

Jamaica Medical Foundation Banquet

So… Yesterday I attended the Jamaica Medical Foundation’s 2011 Fund Raising Banquet, where I was a featured guest along with dignitaries, such as the US Ambassador to Jamaica and the Nigerian High Commissioner. I was asked to draw and present the gate prizes and represent Spartan Health Club as a sponsor. I also did a special presentation of orchids, on behalf of the Medical Foundation, to a doctor and his wife who had lost his mother the day before.

The most difficult part of this whole evening was actually trying to drive through New Kingston in this gorgeous MNM Couture mermaid-cut gown from Bling Bling. If the train alone didn’t make it difficult, the fitted nature of the top plus the flared fish-tail bottom was quite a sight to behold as I struggled maneuvering in it inside my Mini Cooper S. Thank God my car is automatic and not manual transmission!! A gal can only do so much! LOL!
